This book is based on the looting reports from the British Museum during the period of 1933-1945, the time of World War II, and documents the looted artifacts through drawings. The artifacts, whose original meanings were distorted or damaged due to British plunder, were collected, interpreted, and represented graphically. In addition, the information about each looted artifact is provided alongside the drawings.

Museum collections are an important representation of an institution’s history and perspective. Most of the British Museum's collection was formed through looting, which contradicts their claim of being a "museum for the world." This contradiction is highlighted through the inclusion of titles and notes on every page. The work seeks to reexamine the fundamental meaning and history of museum collections.
